Within our electronics-NICT team, Hermine assists French and foreign clients in acquiring and defending their IP rights, in particular in drafting patent applications and in patent prosecution (grant and opposition procedures), in France, Europe and abroad.

She also advises French and foreign clients on their IP strategy, notably through patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.

As an optical engineer and a European and French Patent Attorney, she represents clients in grant procedures before the French and European Patent Offices.

Hermine has been practicing in the patent law for over 10 years, assisting industrial clients, start-ups, and public organizations in the fields of optics, electronics, emerging technologies (IT, computer programs, telecommunications, artificial intelligence (AI), image processing, Internet of Things (IoT), etc.), and semiconductor physics.

After more than eight years in Parisian IP law firms , and three years supporting the valorization of public research at SATT Ouest Valorisation (a Technology Transfer Acceleration Company) in Rennes, Hermine joined CASALONGA in 2025.

Professional Organizations

Hermine is a member of the French Patent and Trademark association (Compagnie nationale des conseils en propriété industrielle – CNCPI) and of the European Patent Institute (epi).
