Elsa Trombitas

Within our International team, Elsa is involved in both counseling and litigation in all areas of intellectual property law, including trademarks, designs, know-how, copyrights, domain names, unfair competition and publicity.
More particularly, she assists and advises international companies in matters relating to the protection, enforcement and defense of their intellectual property rights.
Her practice also includes drafting intellectual property contracts, including license, assignment, coexistence and prior rights agreements.
Elsa joined CASALONGA international team in 2022.
Prior to joining CASALONGA, Elsa studied IP law in France and in the United Kingdom and worked in various law firms specialized in intellectual property as well as in the intellectual property department of an international medical humanitarian organization.
Professional organizations
Elsa volunteers as a pro bono lawyer in the French association “le Barreau des Arts” whose purpose is to promote access to law for authors and artists in precarious situations. As part of this organization, Elsa provides legal advice on copyright and related rights.
She is also a member of the French Association of Trademark and Design Law Practitioners (APRAM) and of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
