We are highly specialized in IP legal opinions. We frequently prepare legal opinions on scope and validity of IP rights including freedom to operate analysis for allowing our clients to appreciate the risks of any specific action.

In patent matters, for example before commencing any patent litigation, our attorneys, together with patent attorneys specialized in the relevant technical field, proceed to a legal and technical analysis of the patents at issue and any potential risks of litigation.

Prior art searches are conducted on a worldwide basis, which allows us to fully understand the state of the art and consequently to correctly determine the validity of our client’s rights.

Our significant experience and our in-depth knowledge of the relevant jurisprudence (in France in Europe) enables us to efficiently analyze the validity of IP rights as well as the risks of an infringement or cancellation action.
