Olivier Delprat has practiced Industrial Property Law since 1994. After several years of experience in a large law firm, he joined CASALONGA in 2001 of which he became a partner in 2006.
His activities cover various fields of mechanics, electronics and electrical engineering including : automobile mechanics ; digital signal processing ; power electronics ; mobile phone ; energy ; medical device, such as medical imaging systems and processes.
Olivier is in charge of procedures for granting patents in France, in Europe and other countries as well as opposition and appeal proceedings at the European Patent Office (EPO) for French and international companies.
His long experience in law firms allowed him to acquire a recognized expertise in litigation and legal disputes. He collaborates closely with CASALONGA’s attorneys in many patent litigations both in the French and European courts and abroad, in various fields of mechanics and electronics. He frequently organizes infringement-seizure operations to obtain evidence of patent infringement, in negotiations for the resolution of disputes and in mediation.
His activities also cover the field of contracts, particularly patent licensing, the valuation of Industrial Property assets and the audit of patent portfolios.

Olivier Delprat is a member of the French Patent and Trademark association (CNCPI “Compagnie Nationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle”), the European Patent Institute (epi), the “Association des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle” (ACPI), the European Patent Litigators Association (EPLIT), the Association of European Patent Practitioners (APEB) and the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA).
He is a regular speaker at conferences on industrial property.
