The companies HASBRO were represented by Arnaud Casalonga, Attorney at Law.
The US company HASBRO INC. is the owner of the "MONOPOLY" trademarks designating the famous board game sold in France throught its subsidiary.
The HASBRO companies noticed that a similar board game named TRIPOTOLY had been put on the market. The companies HASBRO brought an action against the game retailer for trademark infringement and unfair competition.
The Paris Court of Appeal ruled in favor of the companies HASBRO.
