The device has an annular part (20) with a portion retained on an upper cover (18) and another portion retained on a bottom unit (12). The part has a watertight lip (20d) distinct from the retained portions. A suspension spring (11) has an upper end supported on the unit (12) supporting a thrust bearing (9). Method and apparatus for examination of a breast, in which a contrast medium is injected in the breast to be examined, an X-ray beam is emitted in the direction of the breast; a plurality of digital images of the X-ray beam is taken after it has crossed the breast, and a representative image of the contrast produced in the tissues of the breast is calculated from the digital images.
Each memory cell of a memory device is connected to a bit line of a memory array and is associated with a read/rewrite amplifier connected between the bit line and a reference bit line. The bit line and the reference bit line are precharged to a predetermined precharge voltage. The content of a selected memory cell is read and refreshed based upon an associated read/rewrite amplifier. Between the precharging and the reading and refreshing, two capacitors previously charged to a charging voltage greater than the precharge voltage are respectively connected to the bit line and to the reference bit line.
Electrical connector grid forming part of an integrated circuit has a circumferential part designed to be held between opposed parts of an injection mold used to encapsulate the circuit. The circumferential part of the grid is covered with a softer electrically conductive material that prevents molding material escaping between the opposed parts of the mold. The softer covering may extend near to or up to the mold cavity and is subsequently used for forming soldered connections.
A multiplexed flip-flop electronic device includes a decoder logic circuit for providing a first switching signal, and a control circuit for receiving a clock signal and for providing a gated clock signal forming a second switching signal. The electronic device further includes a multiplexing circuit having N inputs and an output, and a flip flop circuit. The flip-flop circuit includes a first switching stage connected between the N inputs and the output of the multiplexing circuit, and includes N switches being individually controlled by the first switching signal. A first buffer stage is connected to the output of the multiplexing circuit, and a second switching stage is connected to an output of the first buffer stage. The second switching stage is controlled by the second switching signal. A second buffer stage is connected to an output of the second switching stage.
A circuit breaker motor drive for molded case circuit breakers is disclosed. The circuit breaker motor drive comprises an actuator for assuming a plurality of positions, a lever coupled to the actuator and responsive to the action thereof assuming thereby one of a plurality of positions and a cam coupled to the molded case circuit breaker and juxtaposed proximate the lever the cam operative to engage the lever in a plurality of configurations in response thereto.

Anti-tumoral vaccine promoting an anti-tumor response directed against a tumor-related antigen in a mammalian patient, said vaccine comprising
an effective amount of at least one compound characterized by ADP-ribosyltransferase activity as active agent;
a compound having an immunogenic profile characteristics of the tumoral target antigen; and
a suitable carrier of excipient.
The procedure consists of reinforcing the existing structure (1) with at least two layers (11, 13) of materials to accept traction and compression forces, the materials having coefficients of expansion and elasticity close to those of the existing structure. At least one of the layers is made from fibres and a binding agent, while a spacer layer (12) between the two has a cellular structure and is thinner in the middle than at the ends.
A machine for grinding cylindrical bearing surfaces on parts, in particular journals and/or crank pins on crankshafts, using an abrasive belt, includes a support on which three abrasive belt clamping members are mounted in a triangle and mobile in directions that converge toward the axis of the bearing surface to be ground. Each clamping member carries at least one applicator shoe conformed to press the abrasive belt against the bearing surface along a surface essentially limited to a generatrix parallel to the axis of the bearing surface. The shoe is preferably made from an elastomer having a Shore hardness at most equal to 100 and has a cylindrically curved applicator surface with a radius of curvature less than the radius of curvature of the bearing surface.
The cradle for a bottle of wine or champagne is made from a cardboard blank which is widest at the center and narrows towards each end, so that the side walls (5) are pushed apart when the bottle is inserted. A sloping upper section (1) of the cradle holds the bottle at an angle.
